About Designed with Purpose Prints
Designed with Purpose Prints is a creative studio dedicated to shaping the next generation through meaningful storytelling and illustration. Our work supports character development, emotional growth, and leadership skills; helping children grow into confident, compassionate, courageous individuals.
We co-labor with families, educators, nonprofits, publishers, and community organizations across both faith-based and non-faith-based spaces. Our goal is simple: create illustrations that inspires purpose.
About Wilnara Kendrick
Wilnara Kendrick is a visual storyteller, illustrator, and designer with a passion for purpose-driven creativity. With over 20 years of experience in branding, design, and educational resource development, she brings a thoughtful blend of artistry, strategy, and empathy to every project. Her journey began with a deep love for storytelling and a belief that illustrations can shape how children see themselves and the world. That passion grew through her BFA from Rutgers University’s Mason Gross School of the Arts and her Master’s degree, followed by various design roles at Gannett Newspapers and a New Jersey advertising agency. Today, Wilnara serves as a graphic designer for a nonprofit supporting early childhood educators; while building Designed with Purpose Prints as a home for her illustration work, children’s stories, and character-building resources. Her mission: Create stories and illustrations that nurture strong hearts and courageous leaders.
Through every page she designs, Wilnara remains committed to this truth: when children are rooted in purpose, they are empowered to lead with strong hearts, integrity, and courage.
